Ann Arbor, Mich. A Requiem Eucharist service for Geneva Duvall Tuttle, 83, Ann Arbor, was held March 13 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Ann Arbor.
Mrs. Tuttle died March 9, 1992, in Ann Arbor.
She was born Aug. 22, 1908, in Shrewsbury, Ky., to Dr. George W. and Essie Jones Duvall. She received her early schooling in rural Kentucky, and graduated from high school in Owensboro, Ky.
Mrs. Tuttle earned a bachelor's degree at the University of Chicago in 1928, and worked for two years in the office of the university chancellor. She lived in St. Louis, before moving to Detroit.
She was a member of the Women's City Club of Detroit, the Women's Association of the Detroit Symphony, the Harper Hospital Auxiliary, and the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church.
She married Dr. William McCullough Tuttle in 1931. He died in 1962.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Watkins Tuttle Darrow, Ann Arbor; two sons, William M. Tuttle Jr., Lawrence, and George Duvall Tuttle, San Francisco; and eight grandchildren.
