— Services for Helen M. Green, 68, St. Joseph, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Baptist Temple in St. Joseph. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Joseph.

Mrs. Green died Sunday, March 1, 1992, at a Kansas City, Mo., hospital.

She was born in Plattsburg. She lived most of her life in St. Joseph and worked for 20 years at the St. Joseph State Hospital, retiring as a cook in 1987.

She graduated from Bartlett High School and had taken courses in food preparation in Jefferson City, Mo.

Mrs. Green was a member of St. Francis Baptist Temple, the Women's Missionary Union and the Naomi Circle. She also was a deaconess of the church.

She married James D. Green in 1944. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Florence E. Boldridge, Lawrence, Kan., and Etta L. Cox, Pittsburgh, Pa.; a brother, Rudolph Langston, Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Betty J. Langston, St. Joseph; and two grandchildren.

A daughter, Imogene Green, preceded her in death in 1954.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Meierhoffer-Fleeman Funeral Home in St. Joseph.
