To the editor:
The editorial of June 4 rudely criticized two Kansas University professors for being biased against George Bush and his environmental policies. Bush has a track record on environmental issues that these professors evaluated as poor. There is no justification for calling the professors biased.
The professors anticipated that Bush would "water down any meaningful actions proposed" at the Earth Summit in Rio. Isn't that just what the news from Rio has been?
I think the Journal-World owes the two KU professors an apology. And just to be sure that I don't have to read anymore rude and biased editorials, I have canceled my subscription.
