— Graveside services for Velma Victor, 81, Eudora, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Fredonia City Cemetery, with the Rev. Frank Miller officiating.

Mrs. Victor died Thursday, June 4, 1992, at Eudora Nursing Center. She was born April 20, 1911, at Fredonia, the daughter of Chancey and Mabel Irene (Spencer) Powell.

She married Carl Fred Victor Sr., on Sept. 19, 1927, at Independence, Kan. He died Aug. 21, 1988.

Mrs. Victor was a former employee of Parsons Ammunition Plant and had been a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fredonia and the Sunflower Club.

Survivors include two sons, Carl F. Victor Jr., Aurora, Colo., and Herman R. Victor, Lawrence; two daughters, Margaret Sue Henson and Mary Lou Henson, both of Chanute; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the First Baptist Church in Fredonia, sent in care of Timmons Funeral Home, Box 168, Fredonia, 66736, which is handling arrangements.
