— Services for Irma Hall Meyer, 87, Hiawatha, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Framke-Casselman-Meek Funeral Home in Hiawatha with the Rev. Gene Mengarelli officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Hiawatha.

Mrs. Meyer died Wednesday, July 8, 1992, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home here.

She was born July 16, 1904, at Blackwell, Okla., the daughter of Harry and Eva Hall Jones Sr. She lived most of her life in the Hiawatha area.

Mrs. Meyer was a homemaker and a seamstress. She had worked as a school teacher and also for the Brown County Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Robinson and the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 66 in Hiawatha.

She married Lynn T. Meyer on May 5, 1926. He died on Feb. 16, 1968. She also was preceded in death by a son, Robert Eugene, and a grandson, Robert Lee Bolls.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Allen Meyer, Hiawatha; two daughters, Marylynn Powell, Lecompton, and Harriet Oldweiler, Reading; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after noon today and until service time Saturday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the Zion Methodist Church youth. Memorials may be sent in care of the funeral home.
