— Services for Grace M. Dick, 82, Ottawa, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa with Dr. Ray Jones officiating. Burial will be in Wellsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Dick died Thursday, Jan. 23, 1992, at her residence.

She was born April 8, 1909, in the LeLoup community in Franklin County, the daughter of Frank R. and Jennie Belle Hunt Sholtz.

She graduated from Baldwin High School in 1927. She spent most of her life in Franklin County, but lived in the Lawrence and Topeka areas during the 1940s and 1950s.

Mrs. Dick worked at Sunflower Ordnance Plant for six years as a roll operator. She also was a union steward. In the 1950s, she managed Harvey Shoe Store in Lawrence, as well as dress shops in Lawrence and Topeka.

She married Guy P. Dick in 1947 in Albuquerque, N.M. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include four sisters, Annabel Seyler, Ottawa, Bertha Lee Scymanski, Springfield, Mo., Edna Brouhard, Ottawa, and Velma Harris, Marion, Ind.

The family suggests memorials to Southview Hospice, which may be sent in care of the funeral home.
