Law enforcement report Burglaries and thefts reported

Audio recording equipment and miscellaneous recording items, valued together on a Douglas County sheriff's report at $16,050, were taken between Jan. 14 and Tuesday from a recording studio west of Lawrence. The owner gave officers the name of a Lawrence man who he suspects in the burglary. No arrests have been made, but a sheriff's official said this morning that the investigation is continuing.

Police reports

A 1987 red Pontiac Sunbird was damaged between 8 p.m. and midnight Monday, police said. Officers said someone walked on the car when it was parked behind the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority house, which is on Gower Place. Damage was listed on a police report at $1,500.

Condition reports

Ryan L. Garrison, 19, 1327 Covington Ct., remained in good condition this morning at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan., where he is being treated for a closed head injury. Garrison, a KU freshman, was in a one-car accident Jan. 9 on the KU campus.
