Former Lawrence mayor Ernest Angino was reported in serious but stable condition today at the Kansas University Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
Angino, 59, suffered a mild heart attack Wednesday and was treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital before being transferred to the medical center on Thursday. He is a professor of geology and civil engineering at KU.
