Wichita — Kansas State athletic officials plan to ask the Board of Regents here Thursday for approval to begin private fund-raising for a new football indoor practice facility and a new press box at KSU Stadium.
The press box would cost $3,625,000; the indoor facility $2,975,000. Private funds would pay for both projects. The press box would contain sky boxes that would sell at a premium and help pay for the construction costs.
KSU's current indoor practice facility, the Brandeberry Building, is used by football, golf, baseball and track. The new building would feature a 100-yard football field.
