Mclouth Graveside services for Lillie L. Cox, 92, Kansas City, Kan., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at McLouth Cemetery with the Rev. Maurice Cox officiating.
Mrs. Cox died Thursday, Jan. 9, 1992, at the Independence Regional Health Center, Independence, Mo.
She was born March 19, 1899, near McLouth, the daughter of Lincoln and Euviva Sue Bradford Stockwell.
Mrs. Cox was a homemaker.
She grew up in the McLouth and Winchester areas and later farmed east of Lawrence until 1929, when she moved to Kansas City, Kan.
Mrs. Cox returned to Lawrence in 1965. In 1969, she moved to Kansas City, Kan., where she lived with her son.
She was a member of Lawrence Friends Church and the church's quilting club.
She married Roy Clark Cox in the early 1920s. He died Dec. 6, 1962.
Survivors include three sons, Tracy E. Cox, Kansas City, Mo., Stanley Cox, San Diego, and Dwight Cox, Richmond, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Rumsey Funeral Home, where the family will meet with friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
