— Services for Elizabeth Bahnmaier, 94, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lecompton United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don R. Flanner officiating. Burial will be in Stull Cemetery.

Miss Bahnmaier died today, Jan. 8, 1992, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 10, 1897, at Lecompton, the daughter of George Jacob and Mary Elizabeth Neis Bahnmaier.

Miss Bahnmaier grew up in Lecompton and attended Douglas County schools. She also attended the Bonebrake Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. She had worked as a cook at the Kansas Union, Theta Tau fraternity and the Varsity House, all at Kansas University.

She was a member of the Big Springs United Methodist Church, a life member of the Lecompton Historical Society and a member of several quilting groups in Lawrence.

Survivors include a sister, Ester Matney, Morris, Ill.

The family suggests memorials to the Lecompton Historical Society in care of Rumsey Funeral Home. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the funeral home.
