Victoria Services for Elizabeth B. Schmidtberger, 77, Victoria, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Fidelis Catholic Church in Victoria. Burial will be in the St. Fidelis Cemetery.
Mrs. Schmidtberger died Sunday, Feb. 9, 1992, at a Hays hospital. She was born Dec. 11, 1914, in Schoenchen, to Joseph and Clementine Dreher Hertel.
Mrs. Schmidtberger was a homemaker and a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Church.
She married Edmund L. Schmidtberger on Nov. 12, 1934, in Victoria. He died Dec. 19, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Ed, Pratt; four daughters, Marjorie Gagnon and Judy Braun, both of Victoria, and Cheryl Hammerschmidt and Paula Walts, both of Lawrence; two sisters, Anna Werth, Longmont, Colo., and Josephine Leiker, Hays; four half-brothers, Lawrence and Norbert Von Lintel, both of Quinter, and Gilbert and Otto Von Lintel, both of Hays; three half-sisters, Vanitta Wolf and Catherine Pfannenstiel, both of Hays, and Jo Anna Burgardt, St. Charles, Mo.; a stepbrother, Linus Von Lintel, Hays; three stepsisters, Appolonia Huser, Salina, Regina Brungardt, Victoria, and Sophia Stecklein, Hays; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to service time Tuesday at Cline's Mortuary in Victoria.
The family suggests memorials to the St. Fidelis Charitable Fund, which may be sent in care of the mortuary.
