Quantrill's 1863 raid on Lawrence will be featured on an upcoming installment of public television station KTWU's "Sunflower Journeys.''
The program segment, "Raiders, Outlaws and Lawmen," will focus on Quantrill as well as marshals and the Dalton gang, according to information from the station.
Lawrence historians Katie Armitage and Paul Stuewe were interviewed for the portion about Quantrill, and some filming was done in Lawrence, including at Oak Hill Cemetery.
"Raiders, Outlaws and Lawmen" is scheduled to be shown at 8 p.m. Feb. 16 and repeated at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 22 on channel 11.
