Ottawa Services for Donald LeeRoy Brannan, 39, Centropolis, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa with the Rev. Marty Bush officiating. Burial will be in Dean Cemetery, north of Pomona at the Appanoose community in Franklin County.
Mr. Brannan died Sunday, Aug. 23, 1992, in Osage County.
He was born Jan. 13, 1953, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of Paul F. and Leagitta Bryant Brannan. He was a lifelong area resident who attended Ottawa High School. He worked for 16 years for K mart Distribution Center in Lawrence.
Mr. Brannan married Deborah S. Houston on April 7, 1972, in Centropolis. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three sons, Donald L. II, Quenemo, Duane F. and Daran L., both of the home; a daughter, Darla S., of the home; his mother, of Ottawa; four brothers, Paul A., Charles L., David D. and Billy L., all of Ottawa; and two sisters, Linda S. Bond, Pomona, and Reba M. Denny, Waverly.
The family suggests memorials to the Brannan Children's Education Fund, in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the mortuary, where the family will meet with friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
