Services for Quentin W. Raulsten, 69, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. Rod Hinkle officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Raulsten died Saturday, Aug. 15, 1992, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 11, 1922, in Fairview, Mo. He was raised in Stella, Mo., and graduated from Stella High School. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of World War II.

He married Oleta Ward on July 4, 1942, in Granby, Mo.

Mr. Raulsten became a resident of Lawrence in 1970, when he moved here from Winchester. He retired in 1978 after 20 years as a Civil Service employee at Ft. Leavenworth and 10 years service at Camp Crowder in Neosho, Mo.

He was a member of Lawrence Heights Christian Church, and Alford-Clarke Post No. 852, V.F.W.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Nick and Steven, both of Lawrence, and Jim of Great Bend; two daughters, Janet Kufahl, Wheaton, and Patsy Carmack, Wahiawa, Hawaii; two sisters, Helen Youngblood, Jerseyville, Ill., and Phyllis Cullers, Stella, Mo.; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn., in care of the funeral home.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
