Services for David B. Williams, 68, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jeff Martin officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Williams died Friday, Aug. 7, 1992, at his home.
He was born May 1, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo., to Frank and Mabel DeTar Williams. He spent most of his life in Lawrence.
Mr. Williams graduated from Edgerton Rural High School in 1942. He was a salesman for Pur-O-Zone Chemical Co. for 24 years, retiring July 31.
He served in the U.S. Navy as a fighter pilot in World War II, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Roundball Club, Quarterback Club and Williams Educational Fund.
He married Audrey L. Churchman on Oct. 18, 1945, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Chris Lo Burgio, Littleton, Colo.; a son, Mark, Lawrence; and two grandsons.
The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Chuurch or to the Williams Educational Fund. Memorials may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, which is handling arrangements.
