— Services for Raymond L. Sutton, 81, Tonganoxie, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Tonganoxie United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery in Tonganoxie.

Mr. Sutton died Saturday, Sept. 21, 1991, in Manor Care Home in Topeka.

He was born Jan. 16, 1910, in Freeman, Mo., the son of Frank and Rose Belle Lewis Sutton. He moved to Tonganoxie from Kansas City, Kan., in 1964.

Mr. Sutton retired in 1965 after 28 years as a postal clerk for the postal service in Kansas City, Mo. He also was a co-owner of the Sutton-Kolman Ford dealership in Tonganoxie for 30 years.

He was a member of the Tonganoxie United Methodist Church, Tonganoxie Sertoma Club, Henri Masonic Lodge No. 190 AF & AM, Rinda Chapter No. 82 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Scottish Rite Bodies of Kansas City, Kan., and was past governor of the Kansas district of Sertoma.

He married Darline Klamm on Nov. 10, 1929, in Kansas City, Kan. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Barbara Kolman, Tonganoxie, and Judy Oakson, Ozawkie; a brother, Charles Sutton, Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Mary Mollett, Kansas City, Kan.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 6:30 p.m. today at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. The family suggests memorials to the Tonganoxie Sertoma scholarship fund.
