Funeral services for Eva B. Fishback, 84, formerly of Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the St. Luke AME Church in Lawrence. The Rev. Stanley L. Counts will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Fishback died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 1991, at Lakeside Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. She was born Feb. 11, 1907, in Lawrence, the daughter of Louis Wallace and Kate Bradshaw.
She lived in Lawrence until 1976 when she moved to Denver. She moved two years ago from Denver to Kansas City, Mo.
She was a housewife. She was a member of the St. Luke's AME Church in Lawrence and a member of the church's choir.
For five years during the early 1950s she sang with a trio called "The Keynotes" over KLWN Radio.
She married Walter Fishback in March 1927. He died in 1975.
Survivors include a son, Walter Fishback Jr., Denver; a daughter, Phyllis Stewart, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Ruth Hagan, Los Angeles; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.
