Schwegler School student Ashley Burnett, left, gets a lesson from classmates on the proper way to hold a newborn baby chick during a break in class. Five baby chicks were hatched recently in incubators in Lisa Clark's first-grade classroom. The Douglas County Extension Service supplied Clark and 34 other local teachers with incubators and eggs through its 4-H Enrichment Program, giving students the opportunity to study the growth of the chicks.
