— Services for Waldemar "Walt" G. Wiechman, 90, Lee's Summit, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Lee's Summit, with the Rev. Michael King officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.

Mr. Wiechman died Saturday at Lee's Summit Hospital.

He was born Feb. 6, 1901, in Greenleaf. He worked for the Lawrence National Bank, retiring in 1966. He was a member of the Board of Social Services in Lawrence for 40 years, the Lawrence Sertoma Club and was on the American Association of Retired Persons board for three years.

He married Dorothy Cook. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mildred Nielsen, Wadsworth, Ohio; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the John Knox Care Center or the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, in care of Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens, P.O. Box 9517, Kansas City, Mo. 64133.

Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1615 S.W. Todd George Rd., Lee's Summit.
