Yoshiro Ikeda's Traveling Invitational Exhibition, featuring the works of 57 artists, will be on display through March 24 in the Holt-Russell Gallery in Baker University's Parmenter Hall.
Ikeda, a professor of art at Kansas State University, is the curator of the collection of functional and non-functional contemporary ceramic pieces created by artists from Denmark, England, Germany, Austria, Canada, Japan and the United States.
Prior to arriving at Baker, the exhibit travelled to Manhattan, Emporia, Salina, Wichita and Hutchinson. After its stop in Baldwin, it will conclude the tour at the Topeka Public Library.
Inge Balch, who teaches in the Baker art department, is included in the exhibit, along with John Neely, Joe Bennion and Tim Mather.
