Services for Agnes S. McKenzie, 80, of Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. Virgil Brady officiating.
Mrs. McKenzie died Friday, June 14, 1991, at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
Mrs. McKenzie was a homemaker and had worked as a retail clerk at the Jay Shoppe in Lawrence.
She was born Sept. 25, 1910, in St. Ansgar, Iowa, the daughter of George Henry and Bertha Lueders Schroeder.
Mrs. McKenzie belonged to the First United Methodist Church in Lawrence; the Zeta Tau sorority at Iowa State University; and Prairie Acres Garden Club and the Pilot Club of Lawrence.
She was married to Helon McKenzie, who died in 1959.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth McKenzie, Victoria, Tex.; and two grandchildren.
Burial will be Wednesday morning in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Cherry Grove, Minn. Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. The family suggests memorials in her name to the First United Methodist Church in Lawrence. Contributions may be sent in care of the mortuary.
