Services for Laura T. Endacott, 87, Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Aanonson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Endacott died Saturday at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor.
She was born Oct. 18, 1903, in Lindsborg. She was raised in Lindsborg and graduated from the Trinity Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in Kansas City, Mo., in the 1920s and was a private duty nurse in Lawrence before her marriage.
Mrs. Endacott was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrence. She helped found the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn. and was a life member of La Sertoma Club. She was a member of the Progressive Circle and was active in Meals on Wheels. She also was an avid sports fan.
She married Norman Endacott in Lawrence on Oct. 5, 1929. He died in 1967. She married J. Earl Endacott in 1973. He died in 1982.
Survivors include a daughter, Grace Endacott Brooks, Greenwood Village, Colo.; a brother, Verner Lundquist, Lindsborg; two sisters, Olga Anderson, Lindsborg, and Esther Engblom, Denver; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials in her name to the Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn. or to Trinity Lutheran Church. Contributions can be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
