Services for Mabel E. Kollender, 86, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Aanonson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Kollender died Wednesday at Heritage Manor in Lawrence.

She was born Jan. 24, 1905, in Douglas County. She was a teller at First National Bank in Lawrence, working there from 1952 until she retired in 1960.

Mrs. Kollender was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Church Choir, Trinity Service Class, United Church Women, Adah Chapter No. 7 ES, American Legion Auxiliary, American Association of Retired Persons, and Oread Neighborhood Assn.

She married William Kollender. He died Aug. 25, 1966.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Marilyn Cross, Loveland, Colo.; a stepson, Earl Kollender, Sumpter, S.C.; two stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. The family suggests memorials to the Trinity Lutheran Church music program.
