Services for Charlotte Cutter Van Bebber, 89, Wichita, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church. Graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery in Troy.

Mrs. Van Bebber died Tuesday in Wichita.

She spent most of her life in Lawrence and moved to a Wichita nursing home two years ago. She graduated from Kansas University in 1923 and taught junior high school home economics in Lawrence for more than 25 years.

Mrs. Van Bebber was a member of the Sigma Kappa social sorority, Delta Kappa Gamma professional teaching sorority, Tennola, the Merry Matrons of Lawrence and First Presbyterian Church.

She married William Ralph Van Bebber in 1927. He died in 1934.

Survivors include a son, Fred, Wichita; a daughter, Nancy Wagstaff, Garland, Tex.; a sister, Mildred Coolidge, Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to First Presbyterian Church, 2415 Clinton Pkwy., Lawrence 66047.

Downing & Lahey Mortuary in Wichita is handling arrangements.
