Kansas City, Mo. Services for Mercedes de Pardo, 79, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Church here. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Tonganoxie.
Mrs. de Pardo died Saturday, Dec. 7, 1991, at a son's home in Kansas City, Mo.
She was born May 13, 1912, in Caracas, Venezuela, the daughter of Henrique and Maria Montana Rangel. She had lived in the Kansas City area for 28 years.
A housewife, she was a member of St. Peter's Church and was a former member of La Causerie Francaise.
Her husband, Carlos Pardo, died in 1973.
Survivors include three sons, Carlos Pardo, North Carolina, Nelson Pardo, Kansas City, Mo., and Daniel Pardo, Phoenixville, Pa.; a daughter, Mercedes Hucke, of the home; a brother, Henrique Rangel, Caracas; a sister, Olga de Perez, Caracas; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will meet with friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Muehlebach Funeral Home in Kansas City, Mo. A wake service is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday.
The family suggests memorials to Bethany Medical Center Foundation or the center's radiation oncology department.
