Topeka Lawrence High employed a slightly different lineup Tuesday at a Shawnee Heights tennis quadrangular, and it paid with a pair of No. 2 doubles victories.
``We put the sophomores in at two doubles to see what they could do,'' LHS coach Dick Wedel said, referring to Grant Martin and Josh Breithaupt, ``and they won two out of three. That's pretty good.''
The Lions finished third in the tournament with five points. Topkea West won with nine, followed by Topeka Seaman with eight. Shawnee Heights was fourth with two points.
The Lions' Jason Willems also won two of three at No. 1 singles, and Keith Hohn won once at No. 2 singles.
