Services for Gladys Ford Pippert, 82, Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. Don Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Pippert died today at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born April 10, 1908, in St. Clair County, Mo. She was a homemaker and had lived in Lawrence since 1947, moving here from Worden.

Mrs. Pippert was a member of the Central United Methodist Church in Lawrence and the Jolly Stitchers Club of Worden.

She was married to Alton C. Pippert on April 7, 1932, in Worden. He survives of the home.

Other surviviors include two daughters, Bonnie M. Taylor and Barbara K. Pippert, both of Lawrence; a sister, Olive Ward Hunzicker, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Charles Lloyd Ford, Melville, Mont.; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials in her name to Trinity Community Services Inc. Memorials may be sent in care of the mortuary.
