The Golf Course Superintendent's Association of America, headquartered in Lawrence, will host the 62nd International Golf Course Conference and Trade Show early next year.

The show, which is the golf course industry's main event, will be held Feb. 5-12 in Las Vegas, Nev. Last year's conference, held in Orlando, Fla., drew more than 17,300 people.

The conference will include nearly 50 educational sessions and seminars, a 2 -day trade show, a banquet featuring performances by Neil Sedaka, the association's annual meeting and election of officers and the 1991 GCSAA Golf Championship.

The GCSAA, which has its headquarters at 1617 St. Andrews, is a 10,400-member international professional association dedicated to promoting the principles and techniques of responsible golf course management.
