Police reports

Vandals caused more than $2,600 damage by spray-painting Kennedy Elementary School, 1605 Davis Rd., and several automobiles parked in the area near the school late Sunday or early Monday. Police reported that vandals painted graffiti on walls and windows of the school, causing $400 damage. Also damaged were cars parked in the 1600 block of Davis, the 1600 block of East 21st Terrace and the 1400 block of East 21st Terrace. Chris Mulvenon, police spokesman, said obscenities were sprayed on two of the cars, but none of the graffiti was racist. Mulvenon said police believe the incidents are connected. Officers have no suspects.
