Oskaloosa The Oskaloosa School Board continued discussions on realigning board member districts Monday night, and planned to complete the process by the end of the month.
Supt. James White said this morning that he will meet with the county clerk, school bus company representatives and postal authorities to collect figures on the distribution of district voters. He will then draw new boundaries for board member districts, and the board will vote on the plan at a special meeting in late October.
White said the western part of the school district has experienced the most growth leaving each of the two other board districts about 200 voters short. He plans to move the boundary line west to increase the number of voters in the north and south board districts.
No date has been set for the special meeting.
