Kevin Pritchard and Steve Henson, both second-round choices in last June's NBA draft, survived this week's final cuts and are listed on the opening-day rosters of the Golden State Warriors and Milwaukee Bucks respectively.
Golden State coach Don Nelson called Kansas product Pritchard "the surprise of our camp" and said he would be looking for way to insert the 6-3 rookie guard into the rotation.
Pritchard made the team when the Warriors put veteran guard Bart Kofoed on the injured list.
Meanwhile, Kansas State product Henson beat out former Jayhawk Darnell Valentine for the job as the Bucks' back-up point guard behind Jay Humprhies.
Valentine did not play in the NBA last season.
