— Services for Lyle D. Tucker, 37, Oskaloosa, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hendricks Funeral Home in Quinter, followed by services at 2 p.m. Thursday in Calvary Baptist Church, Valley Falls, with the Rev. Jon Boyd officiating. Burial will be in Plum Grove Cemetery northeast of Oskaloosa.

Mr. Tucker died Sunday at the Gove County Hospital in Quinter following an accident involving a horse near Quinter.

He was born Sept. 6, 1952, at Scott City, graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1971, and attended Fort Hays State University.

He worked for Gray County Feed Yard near Cimarron.

Mr. Tucker attended Calvary Baptist Church, Valley Falls, and was a member of the former United Methodist Church in Shields.

He married Connie Stephens on May 11, 1974, in Oskaloosa. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Lacey Tucker, and three sons, Justin Tucker, Clayton Tucker and Ryan Tucker, all of the home; his stepfather and mother, Harold and Emily Hough, Topeka; two sisters, Maxine Keaton, Meriden, and Sue Lazarus, Wichita; three brothers, Leonard Tucker, Gove, Scott Tucker, Dighton, and Dewey Tucker, Goodwell, Okla.; and his stepgrandparents, Ruth Tucker, North Platte, Neb., and Floyd Kiester, Albion, Neb.

The family suggests memorials to the Tucker Children's Education Fund, which may be sent in care of Hampton-Barrett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa.
