— Graveside services for Gladys Marie Tadlock, 81, Baldwin, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Prairie City Cemetery, Baldwin, with Elder William Earl Beckman officiating.

Mrs. Tadlock died Friday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 14, 1908, in Kansas City, Kan., and moved to Baldwin in 1947.

Mrs. Tadlock worked at the Co-op Store in Baldwin for several years, then operated the Crystal Cafe until 1970. She later worked at Daylite Donuts in Lawrence until she retired in 1973.

She was married to James S. Tadlock in 1954 in Baldwin. He died in 1963.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Beckman, Baldwin; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, Baldwin, where family and friends will meet from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The family suggests memorials to the Kansas State University Foundation for the Center for Basic Cancer Research in care of the funeral home.
