Kansas University students involved in the Rock Chalk Revue benefit variety show are ready to spread the holiday spirit.
For the first time, Rock Chalk participants will work together this year on a half-dozen community service projects.
Starting Sunday and continuing through Dec. 20, students have agreed to hang Christmas lights for elderly people or people with disabilities.
For information about the service, contact Katherine Manweiler, volunteer coordinator, at 864-7136 or 864-4033.
In past years, Rock Chalk shows in the spring have raised thousands of dollars for United Way of Douglas County.
