Services for Henry J. Saler, 65, Eudora, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Family of Faith Church in Eudora. Burial will be in Shawnee Mission Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Saler died Friday at Humana Medical Center in Overland Park.
He was born Nov. 1, 1925, in Kansas City, Kan., and lived in Eudora most of his life. He was a foreman and boiler operator at Sunflower Army Ammunition Plant for 33 years before retiring in 1985.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in DeSoto. He also was a member of the International Brotherhood of Firemen and Oilers. He was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows lodge in Lawrence and a past member of the Community Baptist Church in Eudora.
Survivors include his wife, Evelyn, of the home; three sons, Mark D., Eudora, Steve J., Lawrence, and Darrin D., of the home; a brother, Charles D., Eudora; a sister, Martha Baxter, Ankeny, Iowa; and three grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Amos Family Chapel in Lenexa.
