Lawrence Public Library patrons now have 13 new opportunities to learn more about the state of Kansas.

The library recently added 13 videocassettes from KTWU's Sunflower Journey series. All deal with various aspects of the Kansas and have been seen during the past year on Topeka's Channel 11 television station.

The new titles include: The Flint Hills, The Glaciated Region, Fort Riley, Southeast Kansas, The Santa Fe Trail, The Smoky Hills, The Red Hills, Osage Cuestas, Wellington-McPherson, Railroad History, Communications, and The Arkansas River Lowlands.

In addition, the library has 26 other Sunflower Journey videos in its video collection, which numbers more than 3,000 on many different subjects. All are available for check-out.
