— Funeral services for George B. Seymour, 66, Tonganoxie, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Quisenberry Chapel here with the Rev. David Petersen officiating. Burial will be in Mount Muncie Cemetery, Leavenworth.

Mr. Seymour died Wednesday at Providence-St. Margaret Health Center, Kansas City.

Born Nov. 1, 1923, in Leavenworth County, Mr. Seymour lived in Tonganoxie since 1976, coming from Kansas City.

He retired in 1982 from the General Motors plant in Fairfax.

Mr. Seymour was a World War II Navy veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 366, Bonner Springs, and a member of the lodge's clown unit, Abdallah Temple Shrine. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and the York Rite, both of Kansas City.

Mr. Seymour was a member of U.A.W. Local 31, Kansas City, a member of VFW Post 9271, Tonganoxie, and a former member of Stoney Point Christian Church, Kansas City.

Survivors include his wife, Beryl B. Seymour of the home; a son, Byron Lee Seymour, Basehor; two daughters, Barbara L. Kaiser, Stonewell, La., and Joyce A. McClure, Topeka; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie, where a Masonic service will be held at 7 p.m.
