Law enforcement report
A Kansas University student was stopped by campus police at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday as he was running naked across Chancellor Gene Budig's lawn, KU police said today. According to KU police reports, the student, who identified himself as a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, told police that members of his pledge class had put a shirt over his head to cover his eyes. Then they took him to the Chi Omega fountain and removed his clothes. He told police he was just trying to run back to his fraternity house, 1540 La., when he was stopped.
