Services for Edna Mae Smith, 93, Centropolis, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Eight Mile Old German Baptist Church west of Centropolis. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery west of the church.
Mrs. Smith died Tuesday at a son's home in Mission, Tex.
She was born Nov. 23, 1896, near Centropolis, where she attended the Union Center Rural School and spent most of her life.
Recently, she lived with her children and had been in Texas since January.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Smith was a member of the Eight Mile Old German Baptist Church.
She married Edward L. Smith on Sept. 2, 1919, at her parents' home near Centropolis. He died Oct. 31, 1966.
Survivors include two sons, Alvin Edward Smith, Mission, Tex., and John Wilson Smith, Houston; two daughters, Vesta Marie Wray, rural Ottawa, and Martha Irene Mohler, Burlington, Colo.; 18 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call tonight and until 10 a.m. Friday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Ottawa and from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at Eight Mile Old German Baptist Church.
