5:44 Flannigan 4 run. Buffs overcame 17-yard loss by Campbell on failed reverse in 49-yard, 8-play march that featured Hagan's 18-yard pass to Nelson. CU started on KU 49 after Campbell's 24-yard punt return. Culbertson, kick. (CU 14, KU 0).

1:18 Flannigan 41 run. Buffs covered 60 yards in 4 plays after Salavea fell on Hatchett's fumble. TD came when Hagan swept left, was pinned in at about the 25 and lateraled to Flannigan who walked tightrope down sideline into end zone. Culbertson, kick. (CU 21, KU 0).
