Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

Military clothes and field gear valued at $1,000 were taken between Oct. 10 and Nov. 10 from a residence in the 1200 block of Ohio, Lawrence police reported. Police reported that the items were taken by an unknown suspect when the victim, a member of the Kansas Army National Guard, was out of town.

A Honda four-wheel all-terrain vehicle was taken between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday from a garage in the 800 block of Elm, Lawrence police reported. The garage door was kicked in and the vehicle apparently was loaded into a truck and hauled away, according to reports. The all-terrain vehicle was valued at $1,000.

Condition reports

James Tinsman, president of the Bank of Kansas/Lawrence, remained in fair condition today at St. Joseph Health Center, Kansas City, Mo. He suffered two broken wrists and a crushed elbow Monday in a four-car accident on Interstate 435 in Overland Park.

Two Kansas University students remained in fair condition today after being injured in an automobile accident Sunday. Michael Gomberg, 19, Des Plaines, Ill., was at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Steven Hudson, 19, Omaha, Neb., was at the KU Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan.
