The project team facilitating the addition of art to East Ninth Street will hold its second of three community input meetings Thursday.

The Community Visioning Workshop will include a conversation about potential art projects and installations along East Ninth Street, according to a news release from the project team. The workshop will be held Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Lawrence Creates Makerspace, 512 E. Ninth St.

The art for East Ninth Street, which connects downtown with the Warehouse Arts District, is being funded by a $500,000 ArtPlace America grant that was awarded to the Lawrence Arts Center. In October, the Arts Center hired a facilitator to oversee the long-running project.
