Rae and David Aiken

Rachelle (Rae) Pualilia Herod and David Michael Aiken were married on May 11, 2018, on the grounds of A Secret Garden in Independence, Missouri. Officiant for the ceremony was Erin Williams. Attending the bride were, her brother and man-of-honor, Jerrell Herod, and friends and bridesmaids, Lisa Dixon and Erin McZee, with niece and junior bridesmaid, Elizabeth Herod. Supporting the groom were his friends, best man, Dan Aubuchon, and groomsmen, Scott Livingston and Dominic (Tito) Nunez, with nephews and junior groomsmen, Alexander Herod and Henry Herod.

Rae is the daughter of Johnny and Cyndy Herod of Lee’s Summit, MO, and the granddaughter of Robert and Theresa Marzan of Davie, FL, and Rachel Herod and the late, John Herod of Water Valley, MS. The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, MO. Rae is a manager with the BeerKC Restaurant Group in Kansas City, MO.

David is the son of Sheila Aiken of Page, AZ and Ron Aiken of Lawrence, and the grandson of David and Paula Aiken, of Lawrence. He is a graduate of Lawrence Free State High School. David is a manager with the BeerKC Restaurant Group in Kansas City.

The couple plan to honeymoon in the fall. They reside in Kansas City, MO.
