Richard and Barbara Nelson will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, September 1st. They were married in Salina, Kansas and have lived in Lawrence the past 40 years. Their children are Jeff Nelson, Jay Dee Nelson and Jody Miller. They have six grandchildren, Kelsey, Kinsey, Kaylin, Taite, Caleb and Logan. There will be a family dinner on the 16th of September to celebrate this wonderful occasion.
