On Saturday, August 5, Bill and Peggy (Gossett) Schildberg will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with close family in Lawrence, Kansas. The couple met while attending the University of Kansas, were married August 5, 1967 at St. Mark’s church in Merriam, Kansas and settled in Grandview, Missouri. They were blessed with two children, Michael William and Kristen Ann (Schildberg) Brown, and three grandchildren, Piper, Peyton and Brigham Brown of Denver, Colorado. Peggy retired after more than thirty years as a beloved elementary school teacher. Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and retired after a career as the purchasing manager for Goldblatt and Stanley Tools. They have since spent their time being avid readers, outdoor enthusiasts and amazing grandparents
