Gregg and Cheryl McCabe, Kingman, along with Gary and Sheri Williams, Topeka, announce the engagement of their children, Kelsey McCabe, Manhattan, and Danny Williams, Lawrence.
The future bride is a graduate of Kingman High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a minor in business from Kansas University in 2007. She is a business manager for Westar Energy.
The future groom is a graduate of Washburn Rural High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in finance from KU in 2003. He is co-owner of The Barrel House dueling piano bar in Lawrence.
The couple plan an Aug. 29, 2009, wedding at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Topeka.
