Gary and Therese Laughlin announce the engagement of their daughter Amber Rae Laughlin, all of Baldwin City, to Zack “Hat” Gadberry, Glencoe, Okla.
The future bride is a 2006 graduate of Baldwin High School. She is studying for a bachelor’s degree in biology at Oklahoma State University and has been accepted into the Radiology Tech Program at Meridian Technology Center, Stillwater, Okla. She is a pharmacy technician at Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Stillwater.
The future groom is the son of Roy and Kathy Gadberry, Stringtown, Okla. He is a 2004 graduate of Stringtown High School. He earned an associate degree in animal science from Eastern Oklahoma State College, a bachelor’s degree in animal science (pre-veterinary) at Oklahoma State in 2008, and is studying for a master’s degree in agriculture education at Oklahoma State. He is employed at Ralph’s Packing Company, Perkins, Okla.
The couple plan a July 25, 2009, wedding at Mehan Union Church in Stillwater.
