Stu and Melanie Lorenzo, Lawrence, will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary with family and friends at 7 p.m., July 11 at the Eagles Lodge in Lawrence.
Stu Lorenzo and Melanie Wilson were married on July 7, 1979, at First Christian Church, in Lawrence, with the Rev. Ron Goodman officiating.
Stu graduated from Jefferson County North High School in 1974 and has been employed with Allied Glass for more than 21 years. Melanie graduated from Lawrence High School in 1977 and has been with Penny’s Concrete for more than 14 years. The couple are members at Lawrence Free Methodist Church.
They have three sons, Justin and wife Kelly, Lawrence, Josh, Emporia, and Jake, Lawrence; and two grandchildren.
