Jim Brothers was an American figurative sculptor. He grew up in the small town of Eureka, Kansas, with frequent visits to the family farm near Wellington. Merging a passion for history that nearly equaled his passion for creating fine art earned Jim acclaim as a preeminent representational sculptor. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States, as well as in Canada, France, Spain, Germany, and Japan.
Each sculpture Jim created imbued the unique character and personality of his subjects. His work is a story brought to life that informs our identity and reflects our heritage. Jim died at the age of 72, at his home in in Lawrence, Kansas.
